No sun makes for drab pictures
Thankfully the food wasn’t drab. Tuna and bean stew with toasted bread made for a lovely (and welcome) lunch.
Lots of soup for us
Another day, another bowl of soup. Today’s soup was an italian-style swiss chard soup with cannellini beans. It is, of course, especially awesome because of how crappy the San Francisco weather has been.
Phở is phoking good.
Tuesday may as well have been a national holiday because we got chicken pho for lunch. And the weather was perfect for a hot bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup - cold and wet.
Such a classy lunch.
Chicken tagine over cous cous with flatbread.
Our chef got us drunk with pasta
Penne alla vodka. This was quickly followed by a warm apple crumble dessert with vanilla ice cream.
This sloppy joe ain't so sloppy.
Never had a sloppy joe this fine before.
One of the most ultimate comfort food combinations
Tomato basil soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. ‘nuff said.
Eggplant or aubergine?
The picture turned out great! So did the food. Eggplant parmesan with bread and salad.
Hot soup for a cold day
If you’ve never had chinese hot and sour soup, it comes with a strong recommendation. That’s what we had for lunch last Monday. It was awesome. Also, there was an asian chicken cabbage salad.
